DC Voltmeter and DC Ammeter, Extended Range - 2024

Model NB-C2-DC

Extended range DC Voltmeter and ammeter circuit board that fits inside a Chi Tai DM-7xx case. The 2024 version fits inside the old and new Chi Tai cases without modification.

Suitable for 12 volt and 24 volt boats. Works with a 7V to 36V supply.

Ammeter for use with ±50mV and ±100mV shunts. The voltmeter is able to sense up to 85V. This version is necessary only for the rare boat with a ±100mV shunt. So far, I've only come across a single N64 with a 1000A/100mV shunt. It's also good if you are planning to add a 48V circuit in the future.

Functions

The functions are selected by the small rotary switch at the rear or they can be programmed by USB using a PC or Mac.

0 - Programmable functions - Default voltmeter 0.00V
1 - Voltmeter 0.0V - 85.0V
2 - 100A ±50mV DC Ammeter
3 - 150A ±50mV DC Ammeter
4 - 200A ±50mV DC Ammeter
5 - 250A ±50mV DC Ammeter
6 - 300A ±50mV DC Ammeter
7 - 500A ±50mV DC Ammeter
8 - 800A ±50mV DC Ammeter
9 - 1000A ±100mV DC Ammeter

Programmable Functions

Plugging a PC or Mac into the micro USB socket at rear of the board allows configuration of:

• Display brightness
• Function and decimal places
• Ammeter shunt size
• Alert if the voltage or current falls outside of the selected range
• Alert if the ambient temperature rises above a set level (default 50°C  122°F)
• Record of the maximum ambient temperature
• Calibration of the ammeter
